Our Ethos

Raise your hand if you’ve ever caught a glimpse of your reflection in the mirror and winced? Told a harmless white lie to fit in? Declined to interview for a big, exciting promotion because you didn’t think you stood a chance of getting it?

We all do it. Why? Because we are culturally conditioned to believe that we’re not good enough. Not pretty enough. Not cool enough. Not smart enough.

But we are enough. We’ve just become accustomed to being told what we want and accepting it as ‘fact’, causing us to lose sight of what truly matters.

A spa treatment, a little get away, a day off - these will all give you relief; respite from the grind, but the effects are fleeting, temporary. To truly transcend the chaos you need reliable, instantly accessible, ongoing solutions.

If you want to get what you want, you have to know what you want, and the only way to truly achieve this is to spend time with yourself. A lot of time with yourself.

There is no quick fix. No shortcut. It’s you v’s you, forever.

Choose to sit still in the silence, and choose to do it again and again. Listen. Observe. What do you hear? What do you notice?

Become familiar with your inner world.

Re-invest. Re–connect.

Rediscover who you truly are, what habits and behaviours you can lose or choose. Let go of what harms you and trust and embrace what serves you.

The only way to ease the pressures and demands of modern life is to learn to retreat within. You cannot control what is happening to you or around you, but you can control how you respond to it all.

Ask the questions: Is this something I need to worry about, right now? What could I do in this exact moment to stop myself from spiralling?

So, how do we learn to retreat within, build this ability into our day to day lives and practically apply it to make a positive difference to our state of mind? Practice.

As humans, we primarily react and function from a place of familiarity. Our environment, our past - everything we have learnt and experienced makes us, us.

Our brain is hard-wired to give us what it thinks we want. Unfortunately, this includes protecting us from inaccurate conclusions we drew as a kid that became the beliefs about who we are.

Here at ReVibe it is our mission to:

Provide you with a practical, tailor made ‘just for you’ tool kit that will bring about deep and meaningful changes and improvements to your mental health and well-being.
Pass on the wisdom of our forefathers who understood the importance of diligent, dedicated and self-soothing practices to keep us better connected.
Teach you how to develop a personal, flexible practice of your own that you can realistically stick to and ‘fit’ into your day to day life.

To bloom, flowers need constant love and attention. The same is true of you. Nothing ‘out there’ is going to help you. Everything you need is already within you and is available to you now and always.
